Day for Night is an expanded cinema work. An artificial window composed of two diffused 5000K circadian light panels—technology typically used to simulate sunlight—are programmed on security timers within an architectural niche. One panel runs continuously, producing an uninterrupted twenty-four-hour day, while the other activates once every hour. Set to simulate daylight through programmable devices, the work invites viewers to encounter sunlight on two different timelines: one constant and totalizing, the other intermittent and rationed.
